Cebu Wedding Cakes: Rustic Theme
Cebu Wedding Cakes...
a Rustic Theme Wedding Cake
Cebu Wedding Cakes into rusticity?!? or you can call it RUSTIC THEME... anyways almost every wedding event I went to has a rustic feel... either elegant rustic, rugged rustic, vintage rustic, DIY thingy rustic, beach/seashore rustic, shabby chic rustic and so forth... it's the FAD coz it's very heartwarming and you get to feel in touch with nature... and I just love it myself!
Feeling inspired by this, I wanted to make another blast into Cebu Wedding Cakes... another creation for the year 2017... this time focusing on the less formal reality of weddings and going into informal or should I say fun aspect of weddings! thinking along the lines of naked cakes, soft mushy icings, fresh flowers, twiggies and leafy greens accents on the cake!
Going through my pins from pinterest mind you... combining my love of suspended cakes and my newfound love for incandescent light bulbs wherein the filament really glows... I made something rustic for a very nice couple Mario & Maicha last December 20, 2016 (Chateau by the Sea) such a lovely couple inside and out.
from concept (inspired for Cebu Wedding Cakes industry)... thinking wood, antique finish for the metal parts, bronze finish for the suspended light bulbs for an age old feel then... a couple of hanging mini bird cage with flower accents... suspended lace hearts... the focal point being? the 5 dainty white cakes with fresh blush pink carnations on top, hanging/suspended from the wooden trellis.... oh there's also a couple of dropped vines and greens twining around the wires and strings... for a plus there's an array of homemade desserts beneath it all...

part of the overall look? CHARMING and SIMPLE
as the age old quote goes "Simplicity is BEAUTY" what more could I add when everything is simply there! So how about planning your rustic theme_cebu wedding cake? think of the outdoors, think of nature, think comfy, think of your inner crafty self, think big, think small, think of what's really important to you!

ReplyDeleteThere is a humbling feeling you receive as you go to venues like this. A sweeping era of romance was born here, and it's clear why. One of the most beautiful DC wedding venues I have visited anywhere in God's beautiful World and I have been nearly everywhere imaginable!
